Queen of the beach

A gift for Maya

Inspired by the beaches in my beautiful hometown. A woman from the beach, with pearl and shell ornaments, feathers and string. I was going to name her Calafia, after the queen of the amazons who used to live in this place by the time Cortés arrived (or so says the legend).
Bouganvilleas, cause I love them! They grow beautifully in this hot weather

I couldn't get my scanner to work so I had to take a picture with my camera "orz so embarassing... The proportions are a bit off, but I realized that just now I also just noticed the hairdo is like most of my alter egos LOL That wasn't on purpose!!!
